Welcome to Sipi Falls Explorers. By accessing our website or booking any of our tours or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions

We / Us / Our refers to Sipi Falls Explorers.

You / Guest / Client / Traveller refers to any person using our website or booking / taking part in any of our tours or activities.

Booking means your reservation of a tour, hike, abseiling, coffee tour, accommodation or related service through us.

Services includes all guided hikes, abseiling / rock climbing, coffee tours, cultural experiences, sunset/sunrise walks, cave adventures, and any other activity we offer; accommodation if included in packages; transport, where we provide it.
2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking becomes confirmed when we receive the required payment (deposit or full) and send you a confirmation (email or other written/electronic communication).

You must supply accurate and full information at time of booking (including names, contact details, any relevant health conditions or mobility constraints).

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings if given invalid, false or misleading information, or if safety concerns arise.
3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency stated on our website or communications. They include only what is clearly mentioned in the tour description (guide fee, park fees, some meals, etc.). Any items or services not listed (additional meals, drinks, tips, extra transport, personal expenses) are your responsibility.

A deposit may be needed to secure your booking; the balance must be paid by a date specified before the start of the tour.

Payment methods will be communicated; transaction / bank fees or currency conversion charges (if applicable) are normally borne by you, unless otherwise stated.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you cancel your booking [insert exact notice period, e.g. 48 hours] before the tour’s start, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

If cancellation is made less than the notice period, or you do not show up (“no‑show”), no refund may be given.

We may also cancel or reschedule tours/activities due to weather, safety concerns, force majeure, or other operational issues. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or a rescheduled date, subject to mutual agreement.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within [insert number] business days after confirmation of cancellation or issue.
5. Changes & Rescheduling

You may request to reschedule or modify your booking (date, itinerary) subject to availability and given at least [insert notice] in advance. Additional costs may apply.

We may modify parts of the tour (routes, accommodations, guides, schedule) due to weather, safety, or logistics. If a major change occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer alternatives or option to cancel with refund.
6. Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for your physical ability and health status to participate in the chosen activity. If you have medical or mobility issues, allergies, or special needs, you must inform us before booking.

Our guides will provide instructions and, where needed, safety equipment. You must follow all instructions.

Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage stemming from your failure to follow safety instructions, personal negligence, or pre-existing conditions.
7. Travel Documents, Entry & Permissions

You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents (passport, visa, permits, vaccinations) to enter Uganda and to participate in the tour.

We are not liable if you are denied entry or access due to missing, invalid, or expired documentation or any legal or administrative requirement.
8. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal property unless caused by proven negligence on our part.

We are not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g. weather, road/transport conditions, governmental or regulatory restrictions, force majeure).
9. Conduct & Respect

You agree to behave respectfully toward our guides, other guests, local communities, wildlife, and the natural environment.

Any behaviour that is unsafe, illegal, abusive, or disrupts the experience may result in your removal from the tour without refund.
10. Use of Photos, Reviews & Testimonials

We may take photographs or videos during tours. By participating, you grant us permission to use them for promotional / marketing purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise.

We may request feedback or reviews. Unless you request anonymity, we may publish testimonials (with or without names) in our marketing materials.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

Any disputes arising from or under these Terms will first be attempted to be resolved amicably between you and us. If resolution fails, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Uganda will have authority to adjudicate.
